Terms of Service

1. Terms and parties

These Terms are a public offer by The PromNotch project (the “Seller”) to any person (the “Buyer”) to grant the right to use the PromNotch software for macOS (the “Software”) via promnotch.com.

Paying for an order means full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. Before paying, the Buyer confirms acceptance with a checkbox in the order form. By downloading and running the Software without buying, the user accepts sections 2, 5, 7 and 9.

2. Trial

The Software may be downloaded and used without payment for 7 days from the first launch (the trial), with all features available. After the trial, a license key is required to use the Software.

3. Subject and plans

The Seller grants the Buyer a simple non-exclusive licence to use the Software within the chosen plan: the “Island” plan unlocks the player, file shelf and clipboard history, calendar, system controls, tools, notification mirror and standby screen; the “Island Pro” plan additionally unlocks the planner, notes and on-device voice typing. Plan contents are listed on the Pricing page.

The licence is perpetual and valid on two of the Buyer's personal computers. It covers versions of the Software released while the Seller supports it, including updates.

Voice typing requires an Apple Silicon computer. The Seller does not guarantee recognition accuracy: it depends on the microphone, surroundings and manner of speech.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in Russian rubles and apply at the time of the order: “Island” — 990 RUB; “Island Pro” — 2,490 RUB. Payment is one-time; there are no recurring charges or subscriptions.

Payment is accepted by bank card and via SBP (Russian Faster Payments System) on the page of the Platega payment service. The payment service may add a fee for the chosen method; the total is shown to the Buyer before confirming the payment.

A receipt is sent to the email address provided with the order.

5. Key delivery and installation

The license key is provided immediately after payment confirmation: it appears on the order page and a copy is sent by email. The contract is deemed performed once the key is provided.

The Software is distributed outside the App Store and is not yet notarized by Apple; on first launch macOS may ask you to confirm opening it. Installation instructions are on the Download page.

6. Restrictions

The Buyer may not share, publish or resell the key, or decompile the Software or circumvent the license check, except where expressly permitted by law. Exclusive rights to the Software belong to the Seller. Apple, Mac, MacBook and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.; the Seller is not affiliated with Apple.

7. Refunds

The Buyer may request a refund within 7 calendar days of payment if the Software does not work on their computer that meets the requirements on the Download page and the Seller could not fix the problem within 3 business days of the request.

To request a refund, message Telegram @face7244 or use the form on the Support page, stating your order number and purchase email. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 10 business days after approval. After a refund the key is no longer valid for updates.

8. Liability

The Software is provided “as is”. The Seller is not liable if it cannot be used for reasons within the control of the Buyer or third parties, including changes in macOS. The Seller's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Buyer for the order.

9. Support and claims

Questions and claims are accepted on Telegram @face7244 and via the request form. We reply within 24 hours on business days; claims are reviewed within 10 business days.

10. Miscellaneous

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, failing that, in court at the Seller's location, subject to consumer rights.

The Seller may amend these Terms; changes do not affect orders already paid. The current version is always available on this page.
